Roald Dahl and the Imagination Seekers to Enchant Audiences at Macready Theatre
Prepare for a fantastical adventure! Roald Dahl and the Imagination Seekers is coming to Rugby School's Macready Theatre on Sunday, February 16th, 2025. This interactive and engaging show, perfect for children aged 5 and up, promises a magical journey into the world of Roald Dahl's beloved stories.
Roald Dahl's words are disappearing! Not just from books, but from children's imaginations too. Only the Ancient Guild of TaleTenders can save them, and they need your help! Join Terry Tibblestick and his assistant Brenda Bogg as they uncover the mystery of the missing words, facing the dreaded Wurblegobblers along the way.
This 65-minute performance brings Dahl's extraordinary tales, including The BFG and The Twits, to life through interactive storytelling, games, and creative play. Developed in partnership with the Roald Dahl Story Company, Roald Dahl and the Imagination Seekers is a unique theatrical experience that fosters both creativity and literacy.

Originally commissioned by Puffin Books, this production has a rich history, having toured schools and events across the UK and Ireland. It has also been adapted for large-scale events at venues like the Eden Project and has enjoyed a successful nine-month tour in Australia.
